Umit Benan – Fashion Designer

A diverse person even before he decided that fashion to be his calling, Umit Benan born in 1980 in Stuggart, Germany, both his parents of Turkish descent at an early age his family moved back to Istanbul. Umit Benan introduction to the fashion world was guided perhaps by his family’s textile company. Spent some of schooling in Lugano, Switerland, he then went on to Boston to study marketing and pubic relation at college. During the time spent in United states he made the decision to become a fashion designer, he moved between Milan to follow is masters program in Fashion Design at the Marangoin Institute.

Over the next few years he alternated between styling courses at Central Saint Martin College of Art and Design in London. Return to the US to Parson and enrolled in pattern making. I had to breath and pause, to discover how much he has achieved on the face of the earth in such a small amount of time,Umit still has to serve his compulsory military service within the next 7 years. Wow! this guy is a pulse of energy, his clothes and design are reflection of that. There is allot of chatter about Umit with bigger expectations to follow perhaps this could be another creative, fashion designer that will out live the hype to produce remarkable clothing.
