Alice McCall is a London born designer based in Sydney. She spent ten years working as a stylist, working on international advertising campaigns for Levi’s, Nike and Rimmel and clients including Natalie Imbruglia, Kelis, Blondie and Marianne Faithful. Whilst in London McCall began making and selling one-off luxury silk tops and 50’s style customized dresses, going on to design Buddhist Punk’s S/S 2002 women’s collection. In 2003 McCall returned to Australia to design for Sass and Bide, launching her own label at Australian Fashion Week in 2004. Fans of the label include Natalie Imbruglia, Diane Kruger and Chloe Sevigny.
