Shops that create their own attention

Urban Flowers / Grange Hall

Stumble across an incredible website Urban flowers/Grange Hall located in Dallas Texas. It is a boutique store that does sell flowers and the arrangements are mind blowing. Owners Rajan Patel and Jeffrey Lee have stocked the boutique full of unusual and beautiful finds: think candleholders made out of doll heads, stuffed peacocks, skull and crossbones stationery, and paperweights with snake skeletons inside.

Seasonal Concepts

There is another store closer to Sydney – Seasonal concepts

Ken Wallis the owner of seasonal concepts is such an interesting person – our daughter was taken by the life sized Giraffe (taxidermy) sitting on the shop floor it towered above us. Evie was illuminating with joy and giggles, Ken had strategically placed trinkets and flowers around the collar of the neck of the giraffe it is such an amazing piece. I think we have placed as place for all people to visit and experience.

At Seasonal Concepts we have a large range of interesting, varied and unique items that range from antique furniture, accessories, decorative items, industrial pieces and natural curiosities which have been profiled and used in photo shoots, window/ trade displays, television/ movie productions and both private and corporate events.

Harold Finishing Touches

Just outside the Toowoomba CBD at the corner of Bridge and Hume Streets is a little black and white shop called Harolds Finishing Touches.

Aaron who runs and owns the Harold finishing touches was previously a merchandiser for Freedom furniture, his natural ambition and curiosities has pushed him to open this incredible store. The store feels more like a museum where you purchase the items. Incredible fine thank you Peep my style.

About thematerialsleuth

I work in the digital industry and this blog is an outlet for things that I admire whether its design, interior, graphic, fashion, styling, industrial, architecture, art, illustration, music or other bloggers etc. I constantly search for different artists who do not grab the media attention or have high profiles brand ambassadors pushing their products.
