Band of Outsiders Spring/Summer 2014 Lookbook

Band of Outsiders is showing what they’re working with for the Spring/Summer 2014 season. The collection is influenced by the one and only musician Mick Jagger, who had a style all his own. The designer, Scott Sternberg came up with the idea of using protest as the collection’s theme.

There are hooded anoraks, ponchos and tie-dyed 1960′s designs that are influenced by the presence of the occupy Wall Street protestors.

The designer tapped the looks and shapes of sweat suits and classic chinos to create cooler versions of the originals. There is a shibori-dyed evening jacket and shorts that looks like something straight out of the 1960′s, only cooler.

About thematerialsleuth

I work in the digital industry and this blog is an outlet for things that I admire whether its design, interior, graphic, fashion, styling, industrial, architecture, art, illustration, music or other bloggers etc. I constantly search for different artists who do not grab the media attention or have high profiles brand ambassadors pushing their products.
